Our Mission and Ministry
We, at Wittenberg Lutheran Center, have heard the gracious call of Christ. We seek to be ambassadors for Christ throughout the campuses located in the Bloomington/Normal area.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Amen"- Matthew 28:19-20
Our Services
We provide weekly Sunday morning worship throughout the school year, as well as Deaf Ministry on Sunday afternoons. Sermon topics are relevant to college students and proclaim Christ Crucified!

Outreach
In our outreach ministry, we strive to have an active student group who embodies the love of Christ. We provide a friendly and receptive place to gather, an opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy fellowship, and to grow spiritually through our Savior Jesus Christ.
Students enjoy monthly activities planned at Wittenberg and within the community!
Service and Education Teams
Students led teams serve locally by engaging in a variety of projects sharing the love of Christ.
Throughout the year, we host various social events and on-campus activities. We also host international student fellowship. We welcome you to come to our weekly Bible Studies and Service!
International Student Fellowship and Outreach
Wittenberg partners with various local churches to arrange a monthly meal during the 3th Saturday of each month. Fellowship during these events includes a meal visiting with one another, sharing the love of Christ through information and resources for students, and playing games to end the night!

Pastor Jensen
William (Bill) Jensen accepted a call to Wittenberg Lutheran Center in 2009, as Campus Pastor serving the surrounding colleges and their students of Bloomington and Normal, IL.
When answering the call, Bill and his wife Cindy were excited to see what God had in store for them at Wittenberg! They were eager for Him to lead them onward. Pastor Bill and Cindy have been blessed with 3 children (Mike, Matt and Molly) and 5 grandchildren. God's light, love, and peace has continued to shine each day at Wittenberg.
